Knowing how to make brochures and newsletters will be extremely helpful in my future classroom. Not only is it helpful for me to understand how to make these different handouts for my students, but also so I can teach my students how to make their own handouts. Knowing how to make newsletters or brochures is a life skill and having them make one related to my content area would not only be a fun way to have them display what they know but it would also draw on their creativity.
